The Peel Health Hub opened its doors yesterday offering a unique model of care to the local community.

Supported by local, state and federal government on both sides of politics, it's bringing a new era in health care for the Peel region.

The Peel Health Hub is a one stop shop for the health needs of young people and provide co-ordinated services for adults and families.  Service providers will work together to offer mental health, drug and alcohol services, family violence and sexual assault support, specialist services, vocational training and family support.

The local community will be able to access services from multiple organisations including Peel Youth Medical Service, headspace Mandurah, Youth Focus, Palmerston Association, Allambee and Jobs South West – with services all committed to working together to provide a welcoming, coordinated, confidential and supportive environment for those seeking help.

GP down south, Peel Youth Medical Service, Palmerston, Allambee and Jobs South West are already providing services from the Peel Health Hub with headspace and Youth Focus moving in to the building in December.  It is hoped that the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) will re-locate within the facility in early 2019.
