We’re being reminded to Drive to Arrive this Christmas and New Year holiday season.

As part of the Road Ribbon for Road Safety campaign run by RoadWise and the City of Mandurah, motorists are being advised to take extra care on the roads and be safe.

The Road Ribbon for Road Safety campaign is a community-based road safety initiative running until Friday, 4 January 2019.

The City of Mandurah is a passionate advocate of the RoadWise initiative and supports the Towards Zero vision of no road deaths or serious injuries.

City of Mandurah Deputy Mayor Caroline Knight said it is important to remember that we are all very important to someone and need to make sure that we arrive safely at our destination.

“The festive season is a busy time on our roads, so please take extra care when getting behind the wheel,” Ms Knight said.

This year, the City of Mandurah is working with Peak Traffic and Main Roads WA to display road safety messages around the City as a visual reminder to slow down and take care.
