The City of Mandurah’s public spaces including leisure, recreation and other outdoor facilities will be closing today (Tuesday, March 31) following new social distancing measures announced by the Federal and State Governments around public gatherings, to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
The closures will include playgrounds, outdoor exercise equipment, community centres, skate parks and barbecue areas, with barbecues being turned off and unavailable from tonight.
Some public ablutions and drinking fountains will also be closed.
These measures will help to protect our community from COVID-19 through social distancing.
