Community Grants

How To Apply

All applications are to be submitted online. Use smartygrants to register and apply for a grant when the funding round is open. 

Please read the Grants Help Guide for assistance with developing your project and applying for grants. 

Community groups and organisations are welcome to apply for Community  Grants. There are three types of community grant available, ranging from $500 to over $5000 per financial year. Community Association Fund

This grant fund is open for two rounds each financial year.  The first round from July 1 - August 14 and the second round February 1 - March 11.

One-off grants for community projects or events (Grants up to $2000)

Recurrent grants for repeat projects or events (Grants up to $500)

Partnership Fund

This fund is open for grant applications from 1 July - 14 August.  It provides funding each year for three years. It aims to assist community organisations to provide increased community access to essential programs and services.

Access Participation Inclusion

The City of Mandurah and Disability Services Commission invite applications from community groups who create opportunities for Mandurah residents of all ages and abilities to participate in community life. This fund assists with the cost of hosting an event, activity or program that promotes access, participation and inclusion.

Organisations can apply for up to $500 per year. The grant round is open all year. Larger amounts will be considered in consultation with a Community Development Officer.
