The Alternative Archive Cultural Day

The Alternative Archive | Peel is a component of an exciting, state-wide series of interconnected group exhibitions, as part of the Connect to the Creative Grid project, through the Regional Arts Partnership Program (RAPP), supported by the State Government and Country Arts WA.

Through rigorous investigation of written and oral histories, community narratives and personal experiences, eleven local artists present a collection of alternative archives.

Entrée | Artist talk with Katrina Barber and Julianne Ryan 

Main Course | Panel discussion with Christen Bell, Curator of History House Museum and Penny Hoffman, President of the Murray Districts Historical Society and former archivist for Rio Tinto

Dessert | Cultural walk with Museum Officer, Nicholas Reynolds, and Franklin Nannup

Supper | Afternoon tea and exhibition viewing at CASM.

Return bus to Museum available (approx. 2.30pm).
