CoderDojo @ Falcon eLibrary

A group of young people with an adult gathered around a laptop.

The City of Mandurah runs over 100 free and low cost activities each school term. We’ve got something for all interests and ages to help your kids try new things, learn new skills and build friendships.

The CoderDojo is a free, casual coding club for ‘Ninjas’ aged 7 - 17 years at the FabLab. Assistance is provided by Mentors and Junior Mentors and Ninjas can meet like-minded people, making learning to code a fun and sociable experience.

Learn to code using Scratch, HTML, JavaScript, Python and other coding languages. Make games, animations, program interactive robots using Lego Mindstorm EV3s or Arduino, and more. Your imagination is the only limit!

These are fun, open-ended skills-sharing sessions which can include presentations, workshops and games, and free time to work on your own projects.

Bring your own laptop, or use one of the FabLab computers. Parents are encouraged to attend - who knows, you may learn a few things along the way too!

Ninjas under 13 years must be accompanied by an adult during the session.

This activity is for 7-17 year olds @ Falcon eLibrary.

Make sure to book your spot. Our activities fill up quickly!
