Spotlight on safety at Local Business Forum

Business safety and crime prevention will be the main focus of the Safer Mandurah Local Business Forum at the Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Club on Friday, November 24.

Local businesses are invited to hear updates from WA Police and the City of Mandurah about local community safety and crime prevention projects, along with tips for improving business safety and security.

Guest speaker Assistant Commissioner Gary Budge from Metropolitan Region - South, will be helping businesses to become proactive about crime prevention by providing ideas and advice on how to improve the safety and security of their premises.

Hosted by the City and WA Police, all local businesses, non-profit organisations and other business agencies are invited to come along.

There will be a mini trade show showcasing the latest security products and services including locks, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and safes. The event will also include information on what the City is doing to keep Mandurah safe, including initiatives around graffiti management, alcohol and antisocial behaviour, CCTV and strategic planning.

There will be great business networking opportunities.
