We're saying Thanks To You!

Your rates contribution benefits our community in more ways than you could possibly imagine!

When people think about local government, the first things that usually come to mind are roads, rubbish and maybe the odd verge treatment.

While these essential services will always be part of what we do, they’re only a small piece of a much bigger story. One that’s full of people, places, creativity, growth and community pride.

Here in Mandurah, your rates are doing wonderful things every single day. They support children learning to swim at our recreation centres, they help seniors stay active and connected, they lift up local businesses through grants and startup programs, and they keep our natural environment healthy for generations to come. They even bring our neighbourhoods and our local spaces to life.

That’s why, over the coming months, we’re saying #ThanksToYou – the ratepayers and residents who make Mandurah the magical community it is today.

How your rates are supporting our community

Thanks To You is a community storytelling project, and over the coming months we’ll be sharing stories from inspiring Mandurah locals who are bringing our community to life thanks to support enabled by rates funding (a.k.a, you!).

These stories remind us that Mandurah is more than buildings and assets. It’s a place with a village heart, thriving in nature, built on leadership, creativity and care.

Get to know more about our superstar locals and check out their stories below.

As part of this campaign, we're also giving you a chance to WIN! Simply complete our quiz below and provide us your contact details and you'll go in the running to share in some epic prizes.
