Join Spare Parts Puppet Theatre in creating your very own hand-puppet in this children’s workshop.

About the Event

Be amazed by this incredible introduction to the world of puppetry at Hand Puppets workshop presented by Spare Parts Puppet Theatre. Using craft materials such as fabric, stockings, buttons, feathers, pipe cleaners and more, you can create your very own puppet to take home with you.

You’ll be introduced to essential design skills of colour, texture and form, and how they relate to character and emotion. Creativity and imaginative play are key, and you’ll learn how creative decisions make us feel about a puppet's character, and how you can move them to communicate feelings and actions.

Suitable for ages 4-12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
