About the Event

Moving Memories is inspired by the places and reasons we meet, network, gather, socialise and have fun. Exploring themes of connection, heritage and celebration, the immersive experience will take participants on a journey through time. Be transported back to Mandurah in 1955, when locals and visitors would meet to dance the night away at the Sontoy Ballroom. Reflect and reminisce about the last time you found yourself on a dance floor, and memories shared with family and friends.

The event will feature pop-up, live performance elements, accompanied by a locally produced, live-streamed audio, sharing stories from Mandurah’s local community.

Performance times:

Sunday, 16 October from 10am, 12pm & 3pm

Meeting location:

Sontoy Ballroom Arcade, 14-20 Mandurah Terrace

Free event - bookings are essential.

Accessibility
