Experience spiralling shapes and unwinding movement in this stunning seated dance performance by Lifespan Dance.

About the Event

Dancers of all ages and abilities come together to present this moving seated dance performance at two special Mandurah Arts Festival events.

WHORL is a new seated dance performance choreographed by Paige Gordon, inspired by the spiralling shapes found in coastal shells, botanical structures and our own fingerprints, and features choreographic formations and movements to embody the winding and unwinding motif. WHORL is the second work, after WINGSPAN (Mandurah Arts Festival 2021 & 2022) in a triptych of seated dance performances. With a wearable scenic design, created by Noel Howell, this work will be a visual delight.
