Police officer with a member of the community changing the screws on a car license plate

About the Event

The City of Mandurah, WA Police and Bunnings are partnering to provide free anti-theft licence plate screws in Mandurah. This event is running in conjunction with Community Safety Month.

Licence plate theft is an issue. Offenders commit crimes using stolen plates (for example, hooning, fuel theft and burglaries). Anti-theft screws make it more difficult for offenders to steal licence plates in a hurry.

Tools will be available for residents to fit the free anti-theft screws to their own car licence plates. Staff and/or police will not be fixing the screws to license plates.

Come collect your free anti-theft screws at the car park at Bunnings Mandurah on Saturday 25 October 2025, which is accessible to all.

For any enquiries, please contact the Community Development team on cdo@mandurah.wa.gov.au
