About the Event

The City of Mandurah welcomes you to the Quarry Adventure Park for an afternoon of relaxation, listening to music. The event will have a safety vibe.

At 4pm the new City of Mandurah’s Community Safety Strategy (2024-2029) will be launched. The new strategy emphasises a community development approach, addressing needs identified through extensive consultations with around 800 residents. The strategy focuses on three key pillars:

Partnerships: Collaborating with various stakeholders to maximise safety outcomes.
Place: Creating and maintaining public spaces that encourage positive interactions and reduce crime.
People: Empowering residents with the knowledge and resilience needed to contribute to a safer community.

Overall, the strategy aims to enhance community connectedness and ensure that crime prevention is integral to the community's well-being.

At the event there will be a visit from Constable Care, a fire engine to explore, a police bike team with community safety information. There will also be a range of family-friendly activities including mini golf, giant bubbles, nature & sensory play.

We invite you to walk, ride and wheel your way to the event.  For those who ride to the event, there will be special free giveaways on a first come, first served basis.

Music in the Burbs is an alcohol and smoke-free event, and we ask that you leave your pets at home. Please remember that parking is limited so we encourage you to walk or ride.
