About the Event
Voting in an election is how you can have your views heard and is your opportunity to choose who represents you in your Local Government.
Learn how to enrol to vote, fill in a ballot paper, take part in a mock election, see how the votes are counted and explore the new optional preferential voting process for Local Government elections.
Accessibility:
ACROD parking, universal access toilet, quiet spaces for a break from the workshop, Changing Places facility found next to the Visitors Centre.
This workshop will include time for questions, interactive activities and a range of accessible resources to support people with disability to feel confident to take part in the voting processes in Australia.
