About the Event

Come and celebrate with the Mandurah community on 3 December for International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), a global event that recognises and values the achievements, contributions, and rights of people with disability.

In Australia, IDPwD is a nationwide effort, with local governments, schools, organisations, community groups, businesses, and individuals all working together to create an inclusive and welcoming community for everyone.

Enjoy a short film screening by the Act One theatre group, choir performance by Halls Head College Education Support Centre, a market hall of small businesses led by people with disability, an art exhibition by the Village Morning Tea crew, interactive information stalls, free activities and morning tea.
