About the Event
National Volunteer Week is held between the 15 to 21 May, the week recognises the vital support that the millions of volunteers in our country provide to their communities and encourages people to consider volunteering. The theme for 2023 is ‘The Change Makers’.
Come and join this free event at the Lakelands Shopping Centre on the 19 May between 9.30am to 2pm. This event aims:
- Assist local community groups in their recruitment of new volunteers
- Increase visibility for local community groups within the broader community
- Celebrate volunteers and the amazing work they do
