About the Event
National Volunteer Week is held between the 19 to 25 May, the week recognises the vital support that the millions of volunteers in our country provide to their communities and encourages people to consider volunteering. The theme for 2025 is 'Connecting Communities', celebrating the power of volunteering in bringing people together.
Come and join this free event at the Lakelands Shopping Centre on the 23 May between 10am to 2pm. This event aims:
- Assist local community groups in their recruitment of new volunteers
- Increase visibility for local community groups within the broader community
- Celebrate volunteers and the amazing work they do
