Have a splashing good time while learning about water safety

About the Event

Families are invited to join the fun at Swim School Storytime, a free and interactive event hosted by the MARC Swim School in partnership with Mandurah Libraries.

These sessions are specially designed to introduce young children to the vital concepts of water safety in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.

In a community surrounded by water, it’s never too early to start teaching children how to stay safe. Understanding water safety is an essential life skill, and the earlier kids are exposed to these messages, the better prepared they are to make safe choices around pools, beaches, and other aquatic environments.

At Swim School Storytime, MARC Swim School teachers bring safety messages to life through water-themed stories and fun discussions that help children understand key ideas like always swimming with an adult, dangers of water, and being aware of their surroundings.

Each session ends with a hands-on craft activity, giving kids the chance to get creative and reinforce what they’ve learned in a memorable way.

Session times and locations:

Mandurah Library – Monday, 19 May, 9.30am

Lakelands Library – Tuesday, 20 May, 9.30am

Falcon Library – Thursday, 22 May, 10.30am

All children will receive a free goodie bag to take home.
