About the Event
Join us for a fantastic day of fun, creativity, and community spirit at the Miami Village mini makeover and street party! This event is all about bringing the community together to transform the heart of Falcon into a welcoming, vibrant, and safe space for everyone.
The Miami Village Heart initiative, in partnership with the South Mandurah Collective, aims to create a safer and more vibrant environment for residents and visitors alike.
The project addresses critical needs for road and pedestrians safety improvements near Miami Village, especially where vehicles filter off Old Coast Road and youth frequently cross from the adjacent plaza.
Community members are invited to join in and help transform the space. It's a great way to connect with your neighbours and make a positive impact on our local area.
What to expect:
Live music and entertainment: Enjoy music by local artists as they bring the street to life with upbeat tunes.
Street greening and art installations: Be part of the transformation! Help us with parklets, yarn bombing, street murals, painted planters, and pavement painting to slow down traffic and make the area safer for everyone.
Pop-up shops and interactive artworks: Explore pop-up shops and dive into interactive art experiences designed to inspire creativity and connection.
Giant games and more: Grab a bite to eat, enjoy some giant games and other fun activities suitable for all ages.
