About the Event

My Community Morning Tea is a friendly event held four times a year at the MARC. It’s for people with disability and their support workers. Come along to discover local inclusive activities and learn what’s happening in Mandurah.

Each session has a guest speaker who shares information about inclusive sport, recreation, and social programs. You’ll hear about activities that are welcoming and easy to join. Mindful colouring is available for anyone to use, along with My Community Chat Cards to support conversations about local resources and activities.

Morning tea is free, and there’s time to chat and ask questions. It’s a good way to connect with others in the Mandurah community.

A quiet area will be set up for anyone who needs a break during the event.

Dates: 7 January 2026, 1 April 2026, 1 July 2026, 14 October 2026
Time: 10.30am to 12pm
Venue: Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC).

The first session in 2026 will be held in the Swim Club Rooms. Entry is from Coolibah Avenue, with parking available directly outside the Swim Club Rooms. This is a good option for people who prefer not to move through the busy centre.

All other sessions will be held in the Events Foyer. Entre the MARC as usual, walk past the café and through the corridor beside the basketball courts. At the end of the corridor, head towards the Show Courts and turn right before entering.

Bookings are essential so we can set the room up with enough space for everyone.

To register or find out moreHCC@mandurah.wa.gov.au or phone 9550 3256.

Accessibility: ACROD parking bays, universal access toilets, communication boards and sensory resources will be available.
