About the Event

Premier’s Reading Challenge is back for 2025! 

The Premier’s Reading Challenge 2025 runs from 7 April to 27 June and is open to all Western Australian students from Kindergarten to Year 12. 

There are 12 exciting weeks of awesome prizes and engagement opportunities to encourage students to get involved and explore the joys of reading. 

The challenge is designed to encourage students’ reading enjoyment and in turn, their future life outcomes. Establishing a life-long love of reading is important in the development of students’ literacy skills and we hope this year’s challenge provides you with fun and engaging ways to encourage you all to get Reading! 

Your libraries have a fantastic collection of books, graphic novels and talking books to help you get started on the Premier’s Reading Challenge.
