Summer Reading Quest

Calling all Adventurers! Get ready for a monster reading quest!

Summer Reading Quest is back, from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2026.

There are two levels for the Summer Reading Quest:

Summer Steps Card

• Ages 0 – 5 years 

• Choose a fun activity to complete day. 

• Tick them off as you step through the month.

• When you have 30 ticks, bring this to your local library branch to collect a prize.

Summer Reading Log & Side Quests

Reading Logs:

• Ages 5+ 
• Read indoors, outdoors, upside down, in bed, under a tree, in a laundry basket, standing one foot! Read anywhere, any way. Just READ.
• Record your reading in the Reading Log.If you run out of space, ask at your local library for more pages.

Side Quest: 

• Ages 5+ 
• Complete the Side Quest Adventures.
• Tick off your Side Quest as you complete them.
• Collect a stamp from your library for every 5 quests completed.
• When you have 4 stamps, collect a prize from your local library.

Collect your Summer Steps Card or Reading Log from:

• Falcon Library
• Lakelands Library
• Mandurah Library

This is a state-wide reading quest.
