Elder rights – Housing Options: Granny flat arrangements
This workshop will be co-presented by Peel Community Legal Services (PCLS) and Relationships Australia WA, two services that are providing support and advice to community members who are at risk of or are suffering from elder abuse. The workshop will focus on “granny flat arrangements”. These are one of the most common forms of multigenerational living, usually in the form of an older parent living on the same property as their adult child, either in the same home in their own area or in a separate building on the property. They will discuss some of the common issues that can arise when entering into a granny flat arrangements and address the ways that these can be navigated.
A free afternoon tea will be provided to attendees.
Our monthly information sessions are open to all community members.
