About the Event
The Department of Transport’s Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) team is coming to the Seniors Centre to help make transport and licensing easier to understand. This relaxed, friendly session is designed to give older residents clear information without the jargon, helping you feel confident managing everyday transport matters.
DVS staff will chat about the questions they hear most often - renewing your driver’s licence, updating your details, understanding concessions, what to do about stolen or missing plates, and how vehicle transfers work. They’ll also walk you through what you can do online using DoTDirect if that’s your preferred way to manage things.
Easy‑to‑read handouts will be available on topics like digital billing, payments and fees, proof of identity and fitness to drive, so you can take helpful information home.
You’re encouraged to bring your questions. DVS genuinely wants to hear about your experiences and how they can improve their services. If they can’t answer something on the spot, they’ll take it away and aim to get back to you within three business days.
