Australia’s premier downwind stand-up paddle board (SUP) race is held off our picturesque coast from the Dawesville Cut to Secret Harbour.

About the Event

The 2021 King of the Cut event happening this December attracts some of Australia’s top talent and offers an exciting display for spectators.

Enjoy the event on Saturday 4 December from 6pm-8.30pm.

Entries are open until 1 December for stand up paddle boarders to participate in the:

  • Main event (24km King of the Cut)
  • The Half Cut (11km race)

Please note: race entries are capped at 140, get in quick to avoid missing out.

The event will see SUPs, Foils, OCs, Paddleboards and Ski’s competing in the race.

Registrations, race start and finishes, and presentations are all taking place at Secret Harbour Surf Club.

There will be trophies for different divisions and various awards to the race winners.

NOTE - The King of The Cut has a 2 day window to select the optimal weather conditions – Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December. If the races are held on Sunday 5th December the presentations will be held at the finish at Secret Harbour Surf Club courtyard.
