About the Event

Together with IPS Management Consultants, the  City of Mandurah is proud to offer the Marketing for Small Business Workshop, an exclusive 8-week program designed to help local small business owners enhance their marketing strategies, grow their customer base, and elevate their business presence in a competitive market. 

This workshop is perfect for small business owners looking to improve their marketing skills, both online and offline, and gain hands-on experience in creating and executing marketing plans that generate results. With the rise of digital marketing, this course helps participants improve their social media presence and master digital marketing tools to connect with their target audience.

Throughout the 8-week program, participants will receive in-depth training on essential marketing topics, including:

• Master the marketing fundamentals: Understand core marketing concepts, such as branding, market research, and promotional tactics, to build a solid foundation for your business.
• Create and implement effective marketing plans: Learn to develop actionable marketing plans tailored to your business, helping you set clear objectives and achieve your goals.
• Enhance your digital marketing skills: Gain proficiency in social media marketing, online advertising, and digital tools to expand your online presence and reach a wider audience.
• Improve customer targeting: Discover how to identify your ideal customer, create buyer personas, and build strategies to effectively engage with your target demographic.
• Measure and analyse marketing performance: Learn to track and analyse your marketing efforts using key performance indicators (KPIs) and data, making informed decisions to optimise your strategy.
• Networking and collaboration: This program also facilitates networking and collaboration opportunities with other local businesses, encouraging the sharing of ideas, resources, and potential partnerships.
• One-on-one business advisory support: In addition to the group workshops, participants will receive one-on-one business advisory sessions during and after the program. These sessions offer personalised guidance to help address specific challenges, ensuring that each business is equipped to implement their marketing plans successfully.
