Opportunities to be involved

The Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest is WA's biggest free regional festival, showcasing a jam-packed weekend of fresh food, live music, children’s entertainment, competitions, cooking demonstrations, celebrities, water-based experiences, and more!
This prestigious award-winning event attracts more than 100,000 local, national and international visitors to the city, all keen to get a taste of what Mandurah has to offer. Join the fun on March 18 and 19, 2023, as we bring back the Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest like never before. 

We are taking applications and enquiries for volunteers and event sponsorship.

Event volunteer - Get your volunteer mode on and be part of our crew as we deliver the iconic Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest for our community and visitors.

Food and drink - applications are now closed.

Pop-up food vendors - Self contained registered food vehicles offering delicious meal and snack options.

Tasty retail eats - On-the-go snacks, artisan products and hunger quenching bites that are pre-prepared and packaged in advance.

Gourmet food offerings - Be part of the 'Taste of the State' marquee where meals are prepared and cooked fresh onsite for festival goers.

Fresh seafood - To host the one of a kind 'Crab Sales Marquee' selling fresh, frozen and pre-cooked blue manna crab and a variety of other seafoods.

Other - applications are now closed.

Market stalls - A variety of stalls selling artisan products, arts and crafts, gifts and goodies.

Activities and experiences - Including a range of interactive games, arts and crafts, recreational experiences, educational activities and family friendly fun.

Christmas in Mandurah is magical, and we’ve got a jam-packed calendar of events and activities for everyone this festive season. The City Centre will transform and there will be heaps happening for the whole family to enjoy. Applications are now open to be part of our Christmas in Mandurah events.

Mandurah Christmas Pageant Float Applications

The ever popular Mandurah Christmas Pageant is back on Friday 2 December 2022 to kick off the festive season with a bang. The evening will be bursting with all things Christmas, starting with the pageant itself where community groups, local businesses, schools, sporting clubs and not-for-profit organisations parade their floats full of lights, colour and creativity!

Get your creativity on, as the best float of this years pageant will be receiving an incredible $1,000 in prize money!

Christmas Lights Trail Community Activities

The Mandurah Christmas Lights Trail will be back, bigger and better than before, lighting up the City Centre from December 1 to January 8. With over 23 installations to make up the trail, you'll see why Mandurah really is the Christmas capital of Western Australia.
We're on the lookout for all kinds festive entertainment and activities to pop up among the lights trail, making for a wholesome experience that families from near and far can enjoy. Roving performers, music acts, dance performances, choirs, arts and craft activities, crowd entertainers and more. Wearable Art Mandurah’s Showcase presents revolutionary works of art on the body from local, interstate and international designers. The showcase is the highlight of Wearable Art Mandurah's year-long program, displaying the wonder and talent of wearable art in a theatrical extravaganza.

This year’s festival will be held over three days October 14 to 16, against the beautiful backdrop of Mandurah’s revitalised Foreshore. The highly anticipated event will present a joyful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate Mandurah’s people, places and stories, with a diverse and enticing program of workshops, entertainment and lots of opportunities to get involved.

Exciting opportunities to be involved in an Australian-first cultural tourism project Thomas Dambo's The Giants of Mandurah.
A series of wooden sculptures standing approximately 5 metres tall will be built and placed in secret locations around Mandurah, ready to be explored. The giants will be hidden in nature, telling stories of our people, culture and environment.Thank you to the local community groups, organisations and individuals who've been working with us so far.
