Crowd of people at top of the terrace, Mandurah

There's fun for all ages this weekend from Friday, March 19 with the Kanyana Weekend - so get outdoors and meet up with family and friends and enjoy a range of activities.

The latest in the series of Mandurah's Endless Long Weekends, Kanyana Weekend runs from Friday, March 19 to Sunday, March 21 and there will be free laser tag, outdoor movie, amusement rides, human foosball and so much more.

Mayor Rhys Williams said the weekend of events was yet another great opportunity to get out and about in Mandurah, while supporting local businesses.

“Kanyana means meeting of people, or gathering place, and that’s exactly what this weekend is all about,” Mayor Williams said.

“Kanyana Weekend is a nod to Mandurah’s Kanyana Festival of yesteryear and part of extending our calendar of events to make the most of smaller events we can all enjoy safely together.”

Kanyana Come and Try lets you test your skills with tennis, AFL, croquet and other sports, or have a go at dragon boating.

Top of the Terrace is a street party that everyone can enjoy with great food, live entertainment and even a human foosball game.

Wine & Wander is a highlight of the weekend, where you can sample wines from WA’s top wineries and enjoy food at local eateries through a self-guided walking tour.

Kanyana Carnival is fun for the whole family with free rides, amusements and activities including Xtreme obstacle course, a climbing wall and bungee run.

All events are free, except for Wine & Wander (tickets $60, includes tasting vouchers, $15 food voucher and a keepsake wine glass). The Kanyana Weekend program includes:
