Perth metro area and Peel region will move to a 3-day lockdown from 12.01am, Saturday, 24 April, 2021, based on health advice. Masks are mandatory from 6pm, tonight 23 April, 2021 for Perth and Peel residents. There are also restrictions on travel throughout WA.


City of Mandurah facilities, including the MARC, Libraries, Seniors Centre, Museum, CASM, Youth Centre, Waste Management Facility, public toilets and playgrounds/skateparks are closed from 12.01am 24 April to 12am 27 April.

The MARC closes 6pm Friday, with last entry at 5pm. Friday Youth programs at Lakelands are cancelled, along with the weekend’s Skate Clinic.

All ANZAC Day services in the Peel region are cancelled but you can show your support for the ANZAC spirit by social distancing in your driveway at dawn. Tune into ABC Perth Radio, 6PR and 6IX from 6am for the Light Up the Dawn driveway service.

Masks are mandatory for aged 12 and over from 6pm 23 April (unless you have an exemption). Other COVID safe protective measures, such as hand hygiene, staying home when unwell and physical distancing remain essential measures even when you are wearing a mask.
