From 1 May at 12.01am, most restrictions will return to pre-lockdown conditions, with some minor transitional restrictions in place for the next seven days (until 12.01am Saturday 8 May 2021). 

All of our facilities will reopen and the following restrictions will apply: 

  • Mandatory sign in at facilities using the Safe WA app or sign in register.
  • Mandatory use of masks in all facilities (indoors and outdoors where physical distancing is not possible), unless exempted.

This includes our Admin Building, Waste Management Centre, Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC), Libraries (Mandurah, Falcon and Lakelands), Mandurah Community Museum, Seniors and Community Centre, Billy Dower Youth Centre and CASM, as well as community halls and other hireable spaces.

Some City facilities have adjusted their usual operations. Please consult the list below or see the individual facility web pages for more details.

  • City of Mandurah Libraries: Mandurah, Falcon and Lakelands are open as normal and all programs will resume from Monday 3 May.
  • Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre: Open Saturday 1 May with the following programs and services to resume – Swim School, gym and group fitness classes, indoor and outdoor pools, and creche. The following programs will resume Monday 3 May – Kids programs, and MARC and Halls Head Recreation Centre Sports Competitions.
  • Seniors and Community Centre: Open Monday 3 May. All programs, activities and events will run, except for the jazz dance, tap dance, tai chi, paper craft, Strong on Your Feet and Zumba.
  • CASM: reopens Saturday 8 May.
  • Mandurah Community Museum: reopens Tuesday 4 May.
  • Billy Dower Youth Centre: Open Monday 3 May with most programs running (please check the Youth Facebook page for a full list).
