Stage 5 upgrades to Pinjarra Road between Foulkes Place and Sutton Street are tracking well, with some important milestones set to be completed over the next two weeks.
Key works include:
- Laying asphalt (22 January)
- Concreting finals
- Line marking, sign and tactile installation
Important reminders
Residents accessing businesses near the construction area are encouraged to park away from the road while asphalt works are being carried out on Wednesday, 22 January.
Asphalt works will cause temporary impacts to driveways within the area. The City will liaise directly with businesses to ensure disruptions are kept to a minimum.
Upcoming traffic switch
Construction of the eastbound carriageway is expected to be complete by late-January, with a key traffic switch to follow by the end of the month.
The switch will see roadworks moved to the westbound lanes of Pinjarra Road, with traffic to be moved to the eastbound lanes. Motorists are asked to use caution and drive safely when accessing the area.
