The Dawesville Community Centre will open its doors to the public in the coming months, with the City of Mandurah now taking expressions of interest (EoI) from those interested in booking the new facility.

Located on the corner of Dandaragan Drive and Woodstock Avenue (next to the Coles shopping centre), the centre will have capacity to accommodate a wide range of services as well as public bookings for a variety uses.

Expressions of interest for community organisations looking to book the facility as regular hirers will open in May 2025. Those interested in booking for one-off casual hire will be able to submit an EoI in June.

Examples of regular and casual hire include:

Regular hire

  • Not-for-profit groups
  • Health services
  • Leisure programs (i.e. yoga, martial arts)

Casual hire

  • One-off business meetings
  • Fundraisers / events
  • Children’s birthday parties

  • Universally accessible toilet
  • Multi-use activity rooms
  • Office spaces
  • Kitchen
  • Meeting rooms
  • Playground
