Daytime aerial image showing the Mandurah Estuary Bridge Duplication with the new bridge construction halfway across the Mandurah Estuary. The image shows the vast waterways and the coastal land on the sides.

The Mandurah Estuary Bridge Duplication Project has reached a significant milestone and is now over halfway across the estuary!

With the ninth incremental launch complete, the new westbound bridge is more than halfway across the water.

The bridge sections are being launched every two to three weeks and takes around 4 to 5 hours to launch a 26-metre segment.

The marine works to build the new bridge piers are also complete.

There will be night works happening from 1-6 May.

Please drive safely to the changing conditions around the area.

This is an important project for our community helping to address the congestion across the Mandurah Estuary Bridge making it safer, easier and more efficient for people to get around.

There are a couple of easy ways to stay up to date on the project:

The project is jointly funded by the State and Federal Government.
