Recladding works to upgrade the front entrance of the City of Mandurah administration building will begin on Thursday, 29 May.
The works involve the removal and replacement of the existing stone cladding on the front entry, repainting of steel beams, and recladding the front walls. The current glass awning will also be temporarily removed and replaced at the end of the works.
Access to the administration building via the front entry will remain available throughout the works, ensuring the community can continue to visit the City’s administration building with minimal disruption.
A temporary tunnel will be installed to ensure those visiting can enter the building safely. Any works required above the access tunnel will be completed outside of business hours.
Temporary fencing will be installed around the works area, and some of the pathways adjacent to the front entry will be restricted and diverted to maintain a safe distance.
The current stone cladding has become a safety risk to the public/staff that needs to be rectified. We ask for your patience during this period while we get this resolved.
Works are expected to be completed by late June. For more information on this project, call the City of Mandurah on (08) 9550 3777.
