The City of Mandurah is currently replacing several local playgrounds to ensure these cherished community spaces remain safe, fun, and welcoming for families.

Works are underway to prepare each site for the new equipment, including removal of existing equipment, minor site works, new concrete paths, edging and park furniture. The new equipment is being installed across the month and will be complete in mid-June.

Playgrounds included in the renewal program are located at:

  • Island Point, Herron
  • Dalona Park, Lakelands
  • Yalgor Heights, Dawesville
  • Silver Sands Reserve, Silver Sands
  • Pleasant Grove, Falcon
  • Ashley Terrace, Dawesville
  • Nightingale Reserve, Greenfields

Parks and playgrounds play a vital role in the health and vibrancy of Mandurah’s neighbourhoods. They provide safe places for children to play, explore, and socialise, while offering families a chance to enjoy the outdoors together.

These spaces support physical activity, community connection, and childhood development, all essential elements of a thriving community.

The City is committed to keeping these spaces in top condition so residents can continue to enjoy them for years to come.
