The Masterpieces Art Competition and Exhibition is an annual event, in which local artists aged between 13 and 25 years of age are presented with an opportunity to have their artwork exhibited in a professional gallery. In doing this, the gallery is able to exhibit a collection of artworks that explore the current social, political and religious perspectives of the community's creative youths.

The artworks may utilise a wide variety of mediums, including painting, drawing and digital media, and entries are judged across three separate age categories - 13-15yrs, 16-17yrs and 18-25yrs. Awards for winning entrants include cash and prizes, to a total of $2000.
